October Afternoon Road Map

I just have to say much I am just lovin the October Afternoon Road Maps.. It's really fun and worked great with lots of the Cali trip photos that we took.. Also worked really well with outdoor play pictures of the kids!!! the colors and patterns were rockin and loved using it... Here are some pages with it:

The new card sketch from Inspirational Card Sketches is up for sketch # 31... Such a fun and cool new sketch, I had lots of fun playing with it.. LOVE this chipboard from Pink Paislee... and did kinda a fall-ish themed card... You have to check it out and play along..

I have to say when I first glanced over the one August 09 page maps sketch, I thought oh man that is a hard one.. so took a bit of thinking outside the box, an extra fun and cool photo of Austin that I love and some fun Scenic Route Garden Grove, fun and bold like I like it... so this is my outcome, which I am happy with , and enjoyed the outside of the box thinking too..

With all the fun pics that I took my super adorable new nephews how can I not scrap any?? ( I know Kim I'm working on the CD and will send it back with mom and dad).. but I had to just scrap them.. the pics worked perfect with this My Minds Eye line that was sooo perfect and precious with these two cuties...

Same Pages, Two Ways.....

The last day of the retreat there wasn't as much time to scrap, but I wanted to get done at least a couple pages before I left, so what to do.. One page for each kid, same page, same layout out, but make them different.. so these are my two versions of the same basic page.. Since each one goes in a different book, it works out perfect.. had fun doing this too..

Basic Grey Lime Rickey

One line that I totally fell in love with when it came out was Basic Grey's Lime Rickey.. sooo fun, bold styles and patterns and the fun cool birdies.. but then when I got it.. I was like what do I do with it?? Well at the retreat I went to I brought it along to play with and really just feel in love with it.. It was perfect for the kids playing around and outdoor pictures. so I had tons of fun and couldn't get enough of it once I got started.

If you love Disney and Fairy tales and love to let your imagination run wild every once in awhile then this crop will be perfect for you.Come and join us for Challenges and games that the DT has worked hard to come up with and that all have a fairy tale twist. Each of these challenges and games will have a Rak and as always we will crown a queen of the crop. Pre Crops will start August 14th with The Main Crop and challenges starting August 21st.Finished products for the crop will be due August 24th at noon your time. They need to be uploaded in the gallery and linked to the original thread.

BEAUTY: this page was done for a candy wrapper challenge. You pick out a candy and use the wrapper for your page inspiration. I got a Milky Way.. Used browns for the overall, then used the orange and green in the design and also the green circle..

Family Layouts

Here are some pages that I got done at the retreat I went to and haven't loaded yet, In July we went out to Cali on vacation to spend lots of time with family and cousins. Here are several pages of all the fun family activities and things we got done. I even got a couple 2 pgrs done!!!

Sun Kissed Babes and Happy Bday Card

This was another page that I worked on last night.. one for the K challenge at MSW to use the word "kiss" in the title.. and also the Two Spotted Dogs challenge called Arts and Crafts- to use an old artistic or craft talent on your page.. I choose to do some hand stitching. something I need to do more often it's soo relaxing and fun to do.. so here is my take on it..

Capitol Reef

Had fun with the new and revamped Stuck Sketches, here is my take on the Aug 15 sketch that was just posted.. I used it to create this page which went for the 2 Spotted Dogs Get Back to Nature challenge- a photo with no people and of nature, and also the I Challenge at MSW to use INK which I did on the page and also all the chipboard- the brackets and star.

Used a fun sketch at So Sketchy 8/14/09 sketch.. for this page. And used it for my recipe challenge at 2 Spotted Dogs- 2 photos, use blue and green and a leaf.. when perfect with my Zions photos..
