I know I posted this the other day, but I wanted to let you know of the super cool sketch I used from Stuck sketches and here is my take on layout sketch #75...

New Fave Page of the Moment

I always worry that I don't do enough boy pages.. I love the flowers, the bling, and all the fun girlie embellies... not that I don't like to do boy pages.. I just love dressing them up and well... don't want too many flowers or bling on Austin's pages.. some is ok.. but these PPs from American Crafts and Glitz are super fun and boy... totally LOVE this photo of Austin, he just got the new surf beanie and looked super cool and handsome in it, so took a couple of pics...

Scrappy Day

Usually I don't get much time to be scrappy during the week, too much going on, esp on a Tuesday, which has been the busiest day of the week lately.. But today I got home at a decent time, and actually took a lil free time in the afternoon to scrap. The house was decently cleaned, kids were on top of their homework, and an easy oven dinner, what more can a girl ask for.. so here's what I was able to get done... Most of them are project/ challenges for the My Sketch World Crop, which was a ton of fun, tons of challenges, and lots of fun ladies....

Sketches By Tamara LO #84

This was such a fun and different sketch from Tamara for layout sketch #84, it REALLY made me think outside the box and have some fun. I used one of the monthly kits from Serendipity Scrapbooks.. and really loved the Luxe PP, the cut out heart and birdies, since you can used pens to color them in.. but I am happy with the results and had fun using this sketch.

Serendipity Crop- Retro Show/ Song Time Challenge

Right now, Serendipity Scrapbooks have their Flashback Crop going on.. and I am hosting one of the challenges.. The challenge is called "Retro Show/ Song Time Challenge" I used a song & a movie.. how cool is that for my title.. {Yellow Submarine} and yes that is me and my car.. My Austin asked who that was and whose car that was...totally made me laugh... But yes, this was my first car, belonged to my great grandfather, passed onto my dad, and then on to me. This is actually the last time I drove the car, as it was time to move onto the graveyard... it had seen it's day... But LOVE these American Crafts teen line.. WAY perfect for some retro photos...

What a cool sketch this is from Tamara for Layout sketch # 83... such a great way to really highlight and focus on lots of photos on one page. I have to admit I usually get only one or two photos on a page, three if I'm stretching it, but here I was able to get more than my usual. These photos were take in Morro Bay, Cali where there is soo much wildlife just down on the wharf and around the beach, so beautiful and amazing, here is my take on it:

Card Patterns Sketch #1

Just found this fun card sketch blog called Card Patterns today and here is my take on sketch #1... such a fun sketch to use and I am soo lovin my Sassafras I just had to use it, and I am still in love with the owls, never sick of those lil cute guys, so had lots of fun with this one.

Caardvarks Card Challenge

I've been meaning to play along with the card challenges at Caardvarks and finally did for this we HEART you challenge... the challenge was to use hearts on your card... I thought this was going to be super hard, but love the Two Spotted Dogs Valentines kit with lots of hearts, so made it easy.. here is my take:

2 sketches 4 you #19

I always love to see the new cards sketches over at 2 Sketches 4 you.. and the DT's work is always stand out amazing.. Finally got a chance to get to one of the sketches, it's been awhile, but love seeing what they do over there.. Here is my take on sketch #19..I flipped the sketch on the side and then created this card.. a no pink and red Valentine's card.. and let me tell ya it was super hard...

My Sketch World Feb 09 Sketch

Check out this cool sketch from Lucy at My Sketch World for the Feb 09 sketch.. Had lots of fun using this one.. and of course The Two Spotted Dogs Love kit... perfect for those fun and lovey photos... Finally have a couple of pics of me and Jeremy together in the same photo, so had to jump at the chance to scrap them...

WOOOO HOOOO....

That's right some really good news.. Last month at Serendipity Scrapbooks they had a month long Winter Sketchfest Contest going on. Posting sketches, challenges and some twists on sketches every few days.. You can do as many pages as you wanted to and earn points towards the grand prize....
Well I was crowned The Sketchfest Queen!!!! Not only I am super excited, but it got me out of my non scrappin mode.. I didn't scrap for over 3 weeks, most of it due to vacation, but I always have hard time jumping back in.. so I ended up getting over 50 pages done last month alone and won the crown and a super great prize!!! thanks to Jennifer at Serendipity for running the month long challenge.

California photos

well I finally got around to scrappin some of the latest photos from our Christmas Cali vacation... I think one of my fave days there, was just spent seeing the scenery.. Driving through Montano De Oro and gazing into the beauty and the feeling of calm that rushes through you.. but also just walking around the Rock, checkin out the surf and the surfer.. and the water was an amazing crystal blue, just gorgeous... can't wait to work on more.

Girlie Girls and Rock Stars

I have gotten sooo much done in the last couple of weeks.. I think that 3 week hiatus really jump started my mojo and I am back and immersed in scrappin!!! couldn't me happier, feeling more creative and getting lots done.. Here are a couple of the latest.. I think those photos of Syd on the top page and soo my faves right now. Taken at Montero de Oro in Cali on the trip, the lighting was perfect.... Austin has some great ones taken at the same time too, so I will post some of them soon...

I used this super cool star sketch from Serendipity Scrapbooks and thought it was PERFECT for these photos of the kids playing guitar hero... I just love this line from DCWV soooo fun and rock star fun.....
