I made this card for the SUPER fun March Madness challenges, that had been going on over at Two Spotted Dogs.. Loved each week of new challenges, both cards and LOs... This has to be one of my new fave lines, this one from Cosmo Cricket, sooo vintage and elegant, and just lovin the color scheme of it too...

Just love the versatility with this one and these were some cute photos that we took up in Park city last October while on a mini vacation for the fall break.. Love how they have the fun moose posted all around the city, and the kids thought they were really fun too.. LOVE this new BG line, sooo bold and bright...

365 Cards- #27 Touchy Feely Friday

Such a fun challenge from 365 cards blog, check it out: This one is all about texture. Try to incorporate 3 different methods of adding texture to the paper on your card, for challenge # 27.
Here is my spin on it, used embossing on my CS base, then sanding on the chipboard arrow, paper tearing on one of the papers, and also glossy accents on the quote bubble...
that is a lots of texture...

Card Patterns #8 sketch

Check out this fun new sketch from Card Patterns, #8 sketch... soo fun and cute. Also the prize of the crochet flowers are sooo adorable.. makes me really want to learn how to knit, crochet.. one day, forsure, it's on my list of all the many things I hope to get to.

Such a fun sketch from Tamara this week for layout sketch #88... soo many options and also lots of fun spins on this from all the other DTs. Had fun with this one too, these photos are from a recent Imax movie we went to, the kids just LOVE wearing the fun 3D glasses and always think its really cool.

What I've Been Up To..

Actually got some scrappin time the other day, and thought I would post what I've been working on. I've been playing along with the March Madness challenges over at Two Spotted Dogs and the new board for My Sketch World and have been having a load of fun at both... Here are a couple projects that I just finished up and thought I would post before I head off to Expo.

Off to Expo

That's right it's that time of year again.. I haven't been to expo in almost two years, and I think the last time I went was I actually worked at it. We have 3 classes that we are signed up for, 2 of them are altered items so I'm really excited about that. Plus already hit Kate's Out on a Limb scrapkits.. and have a few other fun booths that I always look forward to. But looking forward to some girl time, scrappin, and just good ole fun...

Out On a Limb Kits

A couple of weeks ago I went to a weekend scrap overnighters with some really fun friends. I got soooo much done, esp since I had these wonderful, quick and easy kits from Kate. She is an amazing designer and I LOVER her kits.. She's at Out on a Limb Scrapbooking and LOVE her two pager kits so I can get tons of photos on my pages. I ended up getting over 20 kits done in two days, which means LOTS of pages added into my albums. She's going to be up at the Scrapbook Expo in Utah this weekend and you know I will be checking out her booth. Here are my kits I got done:

I just LOVE using 5x7 photos on my page and this week's sketch from Tamara, layout sketch # 87 was perfect for this size photo... LOVED this photo of the kids from the pumpkin patch last fall and mixed it with the Cosmo Cricket PPs from a beautiful kit from Two Spotted Dogs this month.

Love Layout

Got this page done this weekend, and used a handful of photos from the November family photo shot. LOVED these perfect PPS from the Two Spotted Dogs kits, perfect to use with sepia photos and gives kinda a vintage feel. Used the quote "Life is Love... Enjoy it" and that's how I feel about my family forsure...

Sketches from Tamara LO #86

Just LOVED this weeks sketch from Tamara, for Layout #86.. everything about it was perfect and I know I will be using it again. Here is my take on it, the kids were having breakfast in bed on vacation in Cali at the Apple Farm (which is my fave hotel to stay at). They looked sooo cute and like complete royalty- a prince and princess.. just had to get a picture of it.

Had such a great time with the new sketch from IC Sketches, here is my take on sketch # 6.. I LOVE this big letters from Jenni Bowlin, I picked some up at Roberts with my coupon, they were just too cute to resist, love her line..

Just got introduced to this site, Card A Licious from my good scrap buddy Alecia, and had to play along, such a fun challenge this round, and can't wait to play along again. The challenge was: red, black, bling and letter stickers, so here is my take on it:

Serendipity Monthly Kit Contest Winner

I have ALWAYS loved the kits at Serendipity Scrapbooks, and the Feb Altered It kit, was no different, such a fun mix of embellies, fun bold PPs, and just a great mix of scrap goodies.. This is my page from last month's kit that I entered for the monthly kit contest, and was the winner.
I know I haven't blogged for a bit, but too much going on, which means no scrappin for me so far.. hoping to change that this weekend..

Sketches By Tamara LO #85

I LOVE doing 6x12 size and this sketch from Tamara for layout sketch #85 was perfect... I know I will be using it again... These photos are from Syd playing cards, with her boy cousins and brother, the only girl, happens alot.. but just LOVE this line from Sass, super fun, bright and love the little owl birdies...

My Sketch World March LO Sketch

Today was the reveal for the March sketch from Lucy at My Sketch World.. here is my DT take on the sketch, such a fun one to use, I flipped the sketch and used it that way.. Also mixed and matched a lots of fun papers.. I'm really in love with the Teresa Collins line right now.
