A Lil Scrappy Sunday too...

So had a little more time today to finish up my massive scrappin weekend.. I am really surprised that I got sooo much done, and found lots of fun goodies to use that I haven't seen for awhile.. can't wait to do more soon.. This week won't have as much scrappin but this should last me a bit.. I used some of the Girl Friday line by Cosmo Cricket and lovin it!!!

Scrappy Saturday....

This is something that I have NOT done in a LOOOONG time.. get lots of scrappin done on a Saturday.. in fact it's been really about a week or more since I've even gotten a LO done!!! So yesterday I went crazy, pulled some fun stuff out of my stash and went scrappin crazy.. here's what I got done....

Such a fun take on a sketch at Black Magic Sketches, they provide a sketch, twice a month, and then you have colors to follow.. here is my take on Sketch #2 for May- and the colors are black, of course, then pink, white and silver... also you need to have bling.. and I love my bling so I went bling crazy...

Day 91 Front & Center

Cool challenge for the day at 365 card challenge blog... the challenge: keep every element of the card in the center - leaving lots of white space around the edges. White space is something that I don't do much of, I LOVE how it looks, but doing it is a bit more of a challenge, I love to fill it up!.. so here is my take:

Can I just say what a fun challenge this was, but sooo hard?? the 365 card challenge is: Use only 2 colors on your card... sounds not too hard, but I kept trying to grab other things and was like wait.. those aren't my colors!! ACK!!! so as you can see I choose red and white to be my focal colors... Here's my take on it:

Day 89 Imagine This Watermelon

This was a yummy and fun challenge at 365 card challenge blog... The Challenge: Watermelon is the inspiration - use the colors or an actual image of a watermelon on your card. Perfect for summer... also used the May 15 My Sketch World Sketch...

Day 87 Apple/ Eyes Card

Here is my card for the challenge of the day at 365 card challenge blog: Use the word "eye" somewhere on your card. well kinda went hand in hand with the whole apple of my eye... so created this card for my son to give his teacher "thank U 4 being the apple of my eye teacher"... LOVE the fun apple Sass PP too, and that apple paper clip, I've had it forever..

Day 85 Super Sketchy Sunday

This was a fun sketch to use today at 365 card challenge blog, and you also had to use a cupcake on the card too.. so made this into a "thanks 4 being a sweet teacher" card for my daughters teacher....

Day 86 Grape Fun

For the daily card challenge at 365 cards the challenge was: Well you can use grapes on your card, but you don't have to. However, I do challenge you to use purple as the primary color, and incorporate at least 5 circles on your card.
Then I combined it with Gloria's challenge at My Sketch World to not use any PP on your card.. which is hard for me, so I used embossed circle white CS and Coordinates purple CS...

No Doubt..... Hey Baby, Hey Baby, Hey...

This is one band, that I have wanted to see in concert for a LOOOONG time.. so when I heard they were coming I was super excited to get tickets and made sure I was not going to miss out.. I have been listening to them since college, before the days of Tragic Kingdom, thanks for my cousin Brent and his musical influence. But I have to say, they performed an amazing show, and I was entertained the whole time, and they played LOTS of their older, more ska-like stuff.. Also they played their covered of Talk, Talk, which is a personal fave and the Rock Steady song... woooo hooo!!! and I decided when I grow up I want to be Gwen Stefani, she is ultra amazing!!! Out there looking beautiful but tough, a killer voice, super fun clothes (she changed 3 times) and out there performing on stage with tons of energy!! I was sooo impressed...

Me and Alicia: Paramore, amazing and the lead singer is sooo super full of spunk I love it, and yes they sand the Twilight song: The Sounds- pretty cool band, going to have to check them out more:

Sketches By Tamara LO #97

Such a cool sketch from Tamara this week for layout sketch # 97.. had fun mixing it up and adding on a 5x7 in place of 2- 4x6s... This MME totally caught my eye the other day and KNEW I had to have it for all the fun recent beach pics from our Cali trip.. I know Austin is SUCH a beach boy, I really wish we lived closer, he would be there all day, every day....

Scraplift Challenge at Serendipity

Here's another challenge I got done for the Serendipity Scrapbook's May Mayham crop going on... to scraplift someone in the gallery.. I have to say I am a HUGE fan of Sillygirl (Ellen's) work.. she just ROCKS and has the best style, so simple, funky and always something fun going on... just amazing.. so here is my take on HER page....

Inspired Blueprints # 22/ Serendipity's Button challenge

Used the latest sketch from Inspired Blueprints #22 for this page.. and combined it with one of the May Mayham challenge at Serendipity Scrapbooks- to use at least 10 buttons on your page and alter them- and since BG buttons are great for sanding.. I went with that one.. Plus this Snorkel line from Cosmo Cricket is one of my new faves.. Austin is such a funny kid, if he sees water he HAS to get in it, touch it, and that's what happened here, he was fully dressed and next thing ya know, he was IN the water... funny kid...

My Sketch World May 15 Sketch

Used this fun sketch from Lucy from My Sketch World for the May 15 LO sketch... love the fun focal circle and actually was able to get lots of photos on the page.. Also combined it with Crystals challenge at Serendipity Scrapbooks for her May Flower brings..... to me, it's my daughter's May Day birthday...

Day 81 Hip to be Square

Fun challenge today at Day 81 for 365 card challenge blog, use 5 squares on your card... so got out a kit I was working with and created this card... LOVE the line from Luxe, the color it in PP- which I used the cupcake!! sooo cute!!
