Sassafras Lass Monstrosity

Finally!!!! I have to say that since when I saw this line come out from last CHA I knew I HAD to have it.. Even better was the fact that Austin's costume esp went along with this line.. I am a Sassafras lover forsure, but this line really just made me drool.. finally got some and broke it in.. going to be using more from this line, so there will be more to come.

Pink Sketch- Card Sketch

Usually every week at Pink Sketches, there is layout sketch, but this week it's all about the card sketch.. Here is mine, I used some fun funky non typical papers and colors to create my Christmas card. Also the scallops kraft paper is from the Prima flower packaging.. it was just too pretty to not use.

Ok I have to say I was sooo in love with this yummy sketch from Sketchy Thursday.. I had to dive right into it and put it to Christmas Card use... Love the open space that it forced me to use.. Love a great sketch, so here is my take on it..


A Christmas Card

Since I was in the Christmas card mood making yesterday I started to make more.. Here is one using a sketch from Card Patterns # 43... LOVED how the BG worked with the sketch and turned out bold and deep....

One Hour Sketch ( 6 Cards )

On Saturday at My Sketch World, they had a ONE hour sketch challenge, 6 cards and each card needed to contain an item or technique that was listed to choose from... WOW!!! 6 cards.. well I did it and got all 6 cards done in one hour.. Luckily for me, I am ultra behind on Christmas cards this year and this was the perfect boost to get tons done.. Happy Anniversary Card

This week for my IC card sketch for sketch # 44, I created an anniversary card for my husband. I had this paper from College Press with the day/ month/ year on it and thought it would be perfect for create an anniversary card. Also used the Prima packaging (the green scallop) it was just too cute to just throw away, so I put it to use. Here is my take on the sketch:

Guest DT for Twisted Sketches # 024

If you haven't ever checked out the Twisted Sketches blog, then make sure you do.. They have a sketch and then add a fun twist/ spin on it... Thanks So Much

The latest and greatest from the IC Card sketch is up and going.. sketch # 43.. I have to say it was LOTS of fun to work with this week. Also there is a FAB cool prize from Alecia this week, she is the greatest!!! seriously... just loved the circle highlight in the center to work with.. I am sooo in love with this line from College Press.. I used up all my papers and going to have to get more, this distressed line is soo fun to work with..

Suger and Spice

Checked out a new sketch blog from my buddy Alecia's suggestion and fun stuff.. Twisted Sketch # 23

ohhh such a fun sketch and the take on it for the Twisted Sketch challenge: This week's twist is "to use a Punch" - any how, any way! so I used my FAVE new punch.. this button embossed punch, I just love it and makes such a fun addition on any page.. Plus totally diggin this Fancy Pants line, perfect for boy pages.. Here's my handsome lil guy on his first day of school.

My Guy: Pink Sketches # 53

Can I just say how much I LOVE the sketches from Pink Sketches? I love the freedom of creativity that they allow and working with them. Here is my take on the newest one, sketch # 53. Had fun working a boy page... added lots of fun embellies.. been trying to use my machine more often lately and some stamps.. This grid stamp is perfect with this line from Scrap Within Reach... Just had lots of fun with this page of my lil guy.
