This is one of the last crop challenge pages that I got done last weekend.. Jen's fun scrap your style challenge at Serendipity was to use the word STYLE or FASHION on your layout, 3 main colors and 3 papers with different patterns.. I LOVE this fun line from Prima.. totally a great boy page.. I also used Scrapsketch # 3 to create this page.
Over Christmas since our whole family(me and my sisters, and parents) were actually all together in one place, we finally got a photo shoot of everyone all together.. It's been quite a while since we've had an updated family photo. Nothing fancy or professionally done, just in the comfort of our own home. I made this page for my mom's album that we all add our pages to, so that my parents can keep up with all the photos and what the grandkids are up to. I used a Twisted Sketch for this page.. LOVE the rich colors that I worked with.. and yup, you got it 5 girls.. that's what I grew up with.upclose details:
Ok so I DID get alot done this weekend and was very excited.. Here is my page for Kristin's TEXTURE challenge at the Serendipity Crop.. Use all black and white and have at least 3 textures. I did have to scrunge for the black and white but used lots of Heidi Swapp embellies which were perfect.. LOVE this fun photo from Houston of Andie, Me and Alecia.
This was one of my faves and I just LOVE these photos of Sydney from her Christmas dance recital. It was her day to shine and she LOVES to dress up, esp perform on stage.. What girl doesn't. This was for Liz's Serendipity Punky Brewster challenge, use at least 3 colors and mixes of papers.. so here is my take on it.

Here is a page I created for the Serendipity crop this weekend for Lisa's It's All in the Accessories challenge.. You had to pick 3 items of inspiration from the fashion catalog.. I used some small cream flowers from a pair of shoes, silver bling from the silver bangles, black and cream from a purse and the green inking off the stitching of a purse... I also found a cute new sketch site and used Sketch Inspirations 107 to create this page...This is my totally adorable cute niece Emily.. I LOVE this pic of her. sooo sweet.

Here is another page from the crop, one of the Fashion on A Dime.. and to use the WHOLE alphabet on a page as a design aspect. I've never done that and just had to play along.. This Sassafras line was perfect from a very animated photo of the kids around Halloween time.. I also used Sketch Inspirations #108 to create my page and here is my take on it:

These photos are from a loooooong time ago... Back when Alise (my cousin) and I were living up and Atascadero and got the great idea to do a photo shoot, dress up in funky clothes and take cool angles.. and sit on the washer and dryer and take photos.. I used the fun Sketchy Thursdays 1.21 sketch .. and combined it with Jennifers PUNK challenge at the Project Runway crop-- this teen line from American Crafts was perfect and funky to use.. I also had it work for Diane's challenge at 2SDs for the big ONE challenge...

At the Serendipity crop they have some fun on going Fashion on a Dime challenges at the Project Runway Crop... This is my challenge.. to create a fun POCKET and design it like the fashionable jean pockets that are out there- they are blinged out, stitched on, painted on, whatever... So here is my pocket I created and then I put it on my page as a holder for the photo.. I used the Cosmo Cricket Boyfriend line and it worked perfect with Austin's school photos...DESIGNER POCKET:

ALL about fashion!!! the perfect girl's dream... There are soo many fun challenges to choose from the get your juices going... Here is my 80's flashback challenge.. yes the 80s had a fashion ALL of it's own... I also am running a fun Fashion Game too... both have RAKs for them and will be LOADS of fun...Here is my 80s challenge example.. These were some photos taken WAY back of me and my sisters and the fun outfits we'd dress up in to go dancin.. that's right, its the HB Dance Chicks..
ok, so I kinda re-found these photos and pulled them out.. I HAD to scrap them and been looking at them for a couple of days.. I used the 1.14 sketchy Thursday sketch ... Here is what I came up with.. absolutely love this line from Dream Street, great colors, fun patterns, and fun to use.. Thought it worked well with these photos..

ok I had the best snow/ sledding photo shoot with the kids and nieces and nephews.. which makes me totally excited to break into this Cosmo line.. sooo perfect for the fun snow photos and I LOVE the snowman too. This layout worked for two challenges.. one was Sue's AD challenge, which I used like a sketch... and then I used Tamara's challenge: RUB ONS (the snowman), flowers ( I cut mine in half) and bling.. got that ALL over...
Got a couple of pages done for the Holiday Rewind Crop going on over at MSW... This Tree Decor layout is from Cheryl's trim the tree challenge. I have to say I am reallly happy how these photos turned out, with the tree lights on and then a kinda soft lighting going on, kinda a wonderland-ish kind of feel... I LOVE to decorate the tree, and the kids had such a great time this year, they were so excited and did most of the work..
