It's that time of week again.... WOW... this last week just went by too fast. It's Sunday and time for another FAB sketch from Pam at 365 card challenge blog for Day 153: Super Sketchy Sunday...
Here's my take on the sketch, I used some Lily Bee Designs papers and alphas, a Sassafras paper scallop, a 7 Gypsies tag, a Jenni Bowlin embellishment, some Pebbles buttons, some Basic Gray brads, some misc ribbons.... talk about mixing it up a bit...

I really enjoyed how this sketch had LOTS of off the space working room:

Hope you have a happy, crafty Sunday!!!!

Day 150: Thursday Background

Today I'm SUPER excited.. I get to help out with one of the daily challenges at 365 card challenge blog for DAY 150..
The challenge today: Create a background for your card using wet and/or dry embossing...

I'm not a huge embosser, but I LOVE the look of it. I used some embossed Coredinates CS for this card... broke out my sanding tool, and sanded the butterflies to make them stand out.
Next I added some of the butterfly images from the sponsor this week and added some pop dots and color to make them "fly" off the card...

Hope you play along.

Easter

I finally found the Easter photos that we took as a family and got them printed off... I kinda forgot what camera they were on, and took the time to get photos downloaded and printed.. yeah... Here are some of the pics from Easter, both kids looking great in their new Easter wear. I used the 7.21 sketch from Sketchy Thursday, a great multi photo sketch.

I also played along with the Paper Variety's tic tac toe. My picks were:
- Use Machine Sewing. which I LOVE to do on my page. I sewed around the border of the paper
- Make a Multi photo layout- check, got 3
- Use journaling strips- I cut my journaling strips and there they are.

Also over at Sketches in Thyme it was an open challenge... Use any sketch and link it up... so here is my page using Sketchy Thursdays sketch...
check out those cute clothes and happy smiles:

Nuts About Sketches Week 170

It's Monday, and time for a new sketch from Shawn to play along with at Nuts About Sketches... Here is the sketch for week#170:

I used the left side of the sketch only and created this page with it, using Crate's Portrait line.. it's a fun one.

The pictures make me sooo happy, esp to see the kids being silly, happy, and playful together.. having a great time and being themselves in front of the camera. Of course, I love a picture that looks perfect and posed, but the everyday random fun pictures can mean just as much.

Gotta love those two little turkeys.

So What???... I'm a Soccer Star!!!

Over at Scrap the Girls this month, they had a SUPER fun challenge, I just couldn't resist... The challenge: scrap a Layout using this album cover by ‘Pink’ ‘Greatest Hits….So Far’ as your inspiration.

I knew that I could totally do that.. I LOVED the fun HOT pink, and I'm a fan of Pink and her music. I came up with this page... Using the pink in the cover for the bulk of the page, and then also using the spin off of the song "So What" in my title... I used Cosmo Cricket's Upcycle line, which is a pretty girlie line too.

Here is the inspiration for the page:
Used some fussy cutting to add some flower embellies:
Mixin it up with the alphas for the title:
