Hello and good morning..
I'm VERY excited to share this layout with you. The photo is from my sisters wedding, and the other day I was flipping through the photos I printed out from her big day, and this one grabbed my attention and I fell in love with it. So I created this page and fell in love with the page.. Makes me wish I could go back and take ALL new photos from my wedding day and scrap them now.. My biggest regret was not spending more $$ on a better photographer and doing what we could with the money we had..... oh well right???? So I guess I'll just scrap all my sister's pics, man she got the good end of the deal right?? lol...
Here's the page:
I used the MME Honey line for this page. I think this is one of my FAVES from them ever...
I love this quote strip and thought it was perfect
I don't have very much of this line left, so I did lots of layering and strips on the page
I added just a splash of mist and some of the enamels on the page:
I used the MME Jan sketch for this layout also...
Happy Thursday!!!!!

Child's Play Tea For Two
Hello and good evening..
Tonight is a really fun and super girlie challenge from the Child's Play Challenge blog...
check out the adorable pictures to inspire your layout, the challenge it called TEA FOR TWO:
and here is my take on the page. For some reason I don't have any photos of Sydney playing tea party. I guess that one things we didn't do much of. So maybe once Chorley is older, we'll make sure to play tea party:
I used the older Echo Park Little Girl line which was perfect for this photo
I actually cut out the Little Girl images from the collection pack front page I added the S since both my girls are in the photo), I was that low on the stash, but I am LOVIN the flower:
I also added the teacups on the page and a cute lil wooden heart
So how you will play along with the challenge???
Can't wait to see... Have a good night.

Fresh and Beauty
Hello and good morning...
Happy Hump Day!!! we're heading in closer to the weekend, so I couldn't be more excited about that.
Today I am sharing a couple of pages with you.
This first one is of my lil cutie:
So Fresh and Full of Life.. I used some of the October Afternoon Woodland collection, which had been too pretty to use before, but I'm trying to really use what I have before all the new stuff comes out.
and I just LOVE these cute lil bunnies:
I used SKETCH 229 fro Pamela's World of Scrap for this layout.
I also used it toward's Lisa's My Scrap's One Little Word challenge- use the word Fresh and something from the outside on your page, I choose the bunnies.
My second page I'm sharing is about my other growing up cutie:
The photo was taken at the beach right after the solar eclipse last March, I was kinda playing around with the camera and love how the photo turned out with the pier in the way off background.
I added some triangles and a cute lil Hambly owl I found
I made the page super warm by using, mixing and matching reds, pinks, yellows and oranges. That was the challenge from Audrey at the My Scraps One Word challenge... WARM..
I used the The Studio challenges Jan 20 sketch for my layout.
and am linking up with Twisted Tuesday's Free for All challenge.
hope you have a wonderful day.

Enjoy.....
Hello and good morning.... today I'm up over on the My Scraps & More blog....
Today I am sharing with your my layout from the One Little Word Crop from the My Scraps & More forum...
The last two years, I have chosen a word as my One Little Word, and this year my word for 2013 is................... ENJOY.....
Enjoy the little things
Enjoy life
Enjoy the kids each day
Enjoy the everyday moments
Enjoy the journey
Enjoy what I've been given
Enjoy it all.....
I created this layout about my word:
I used Echo Park's Everyday Eclectic collection on my layout.. I have a HUGE love affair with this line and can NOT seem to get enough of it..
I highlighted my word on a handmade banner:
I decided to add some stitching around the cloud:
And then fussy cut out some hexagons and added some misting:
So what is your One Little Word for 2013???
Make sure to stop by Tammi's store and purchase this line before it's gone..

Mexican Shepherd's Pie
Hello and good evening..
Last week, I was looking for some new recipes, since I feel like I've been in a rut, kinda making the same things again and again. I came across this one, and it caught my attention.... Mexican Shepard's Pie.. I was kinda unsure at first, because I didn't know how the potatoes would mix with Mexican food.
So here is my pinspiration:

Mexican Shepard's Pie.. I was kinda unsure at first, because I didn't know how the potatoes would mix with Mexican food.
So here is my pinspiration:
I ended up altering it quite a bit. We have the leftover mashed potatoes already so I didn't need to make anymore. I also didn't add green onions, cuz with kids, they won't eat them. Then I went out on a limb and changed the ground beef to chicken. We had a whole chicken the night before and lots of chicken leftover so I knew chicken might work better... and it did..
Here's my cooked dish:
I liked it because it made a 9x13. We ate most of it, but had some leftovers for the kids for their after school snack the next day.
Here's the side view: chicken on the bottom, salsa, corn, mashed potatos and cheese on top:
And we added guacamole on top and tortilla chips and it was a HIT!!!!!
everyone LOVED it!!!! totally going to be making this again reallly soon!!!!
Hope you give it a try!!! if everyone at my table is happy, I am also!!!
You are My Home and Love
Hello and good morning...
Just sharing a couple more pages that I got done at the crop on Friday night.
The first page has a very old photo of the two older kids when they were pretty little (Austin was barely 2 and Sydney was about 4 or 5 months or so), and I feel like I look soooo young
I used the wood LOVE for my title
and used this fun tag on the page, LOVE the flower:
I used the Creative Scrappers sketch #244 for this page.
I also got done this page and titled it You Are My Home:
This photo was taken in October while we were visiting Utah. I used Bella Blvd's Kiss Me line
I fussy cut out a few of the circle dots and sprinkled them across my page
and played around with some triangles:
I used the Creative Scrappers sketch #243
and used it towards the My Scraps HOME one little word challenge.
Happy Monday and have a good one!!!

Growing Up..
Hello and good evening..
This past Friday night I went to an actual crop at a scrapbook store and it was pretty cool. I met up with two ladies that I met years ago in scrapbook forums. I got five pages done just for fun and felt pretty good..
Here is one of the pages. I had some older photos of my older two laying on my desk and decided to put them all on one page to show their changes and growing up:
I mainly used Echo Park's Sweet Days line and an Elle's Studio tag
I fussy cut out just a few hexes to add on the page
The first photo was taken just days after Sydney came home from the hospital (so Austin was 20 months), the next photo she was about 7 months or so, and the last one was when she was about 3.
I played along with the Let's Get Sketchy week 3 sketch
and My Scraps & More's One Little Word challenge of CHANGE
have a good night....

Day 27: Super Sketchy Sunday
Hello and good morning....
ok, seriously... why are the weekends sooo short and quick?? I kinda liked the 3 day weekend from the week before, I think every weekend should be officially switched to 3 day weekends..
Here is the latest sketch from 365 Cards challenge blog for Day 27 to get busy with:
and here's my take on it:
This week we have our wonderful sponsor, Paper Pretties digi images to work with.
I used the sentiment JUST A NOTE from THIS set:
and the Bayou snail from the same set, you can find HERE...
I paper pieced this lil guy and then added some bling on him, just to brighten him up a bit:
Thanks to Rose for seeing all her lovely paper piercings and inspiring me to give it a try.
I'm linking it up with Simon Says Challenge- Paper Pieceing.
And with Inspired by #59 challenge.. I pulled the red from the photo and then the circles on my snail.
Can't wait to see what you do with the sketch!!!

I also broke out my Jillibean Soup goodies to play along with their 1.17 sketch and made this layout:
I actually mixed a couple of lines for this page
and added a fun lil butterfly, bling and mist:
And last a card with the Jan card sketch from Practical Scrappers up on the blog today:
