Love My Lil Hotshot.

Hello and good morning...

Happy Saturday!!!! Hope you have some fun weekend plans going on...

I wanted to share with you my layout using the latest Sketches In Thyme sketch up on the blog to play along with.  I scrapped a photo of my daughter at our final soccer game two weeks ago. We had a great season and she played amazing the whole time. I could always count on her to be strong for the team.

I mixed up my title and fussy cut a few of the black pieces on clear paper and added them through out the page:

I added some messy misting and color in the background and a pop of stitching at the top of the strips:

Here is the sketch:

I also used my May Scrapbook Circle kit to play along with the May challenge of  Clearly.

Thanks sooo much for stopping by and have a great weekend!!!

These Are the Days- Craft Hoarders Anonymous Blog Hop.

Hello and good morning.....

Welcome to the Craft Hoarders Anonymous Blog Hop.. You should have arrived here from Vicki's blog...  If you are lost, start off at Gloria's blog..

Today I'm sharing a layout I did scrapping a photo of the kids and their cousins from Thanksgiving Dinner. It was a blast being able to all get together, and it's fun watching the older kids do things that I did with my cousins at that age. I love seeing their relationship grow. I used an older, but fave, line Then and Now from Echo Park.. I think I'm going to keep it out and use it again.

I used a ton of layers on this page.. I couldn't really decide what papers to use, and wanted to use them all.. LOL!!! I used the "These are the Days" sticker for my title, I was a huge fan of the 10,000 Maniacs song from the 90s.

I also get a bit messy with some misting and a bit of gesso chevrons with a mask behind the papers:

I used the May 1 Stuck Sketch for this layout.

Thanks so much for letting me share, now you are off to the lovely and talented Christy's blog to see her amazing project.

Have a great day!!!!

I added some washi and a bit of wood pieces on the page:

Hello and good morning...

Hope you are all doing well... I haven't totally dropped off the face of the earth.. but maybe almost. I'm just hanging out at the soccer fields 5 days a week, and then the baseball field on the other day and whats left of Saturdays, and then trying to catch up on everything in the world on Sunday... Hopefully summer will mellow out right.. LOL....

Anyways.. here is a page I did using the latest sketch from Sketches in Thyme to play along with.
Its a photo of my lil on after her gymnastics class, which she just loves. She always comes away to happy, and also super excited to come home and try out her new moves that she's just learned.

I added a larger title for the page, I just LOVE that script font.. along with some enamels and misting:

And some fun top of the page details:

Here is the sketch, so hope you get a chance to play along with it:

Seriously, thank you sooooo much for stopping by.. I'm sorry I've been blog loving flakey.. I'm going to try and work on that as soon as I can...

1st Place.... April Craft Hoarders Anyonymous Blog Hop.

Hello and good morning.....

Welcome to the Craft Hoarders Anonymous Blog Hop.. You should have arrived here from Debbie's blog..  If you are lost, start off at Gloria's blog..
Today I sharing a layout with us using an older, but one of my favorite lines, the Fancy Pants Trendsetter collections. I LOVE the color combo and could work with these colors everyday... The photo is from our soccer teams last game of the season. I coached these girls and we came in first place for our season.... and we were undefeated.. These girls were amazing and worked hard for their title, and I am so proud.

I mixed and matched for my title work:

And added some journaling with my all time fave marker- a fine lined Sharpie pen:

I used the April 1st Stuck sketch for this layout also.

Thanks sooo much for stopping by and have a great day!!!

Capitol Reef.

Hello and good morning...

Hope you all had a great Easter weekend.. We are on spring break this week, so I'm excited to do some fun things with the kids.

Here is my take on the latest Sketches In Thyme sketch for my week #4 reveal.

I scrapped some photos from our last summer's trip to Capitol Reef, Utah.. If you haven't ever been, I would recommend it. It's a gorgeous National Park, tons of hiking.. and Goblin's Valley is such a cool place for the kids to run around and explore.

Close of up of mixed title work:

Of course com enamels and misting:

Here is the week #4 sketch:

I also used my March and earlier Scrapbook Circle kit for the March Green challenge too.
