A Christmas Card and a blog hop winner.

Hello and good morning...

Happy Survivor Day!!! tonight is the big night and the finale!!! always love it getting down to the end and then watching the wrap up show..

Just wanted to share a christmas card that I made earlier this month.

I used Fancy Pants Oh Deer collection for this one.. I LOVE that line... and the deer is just too adorable..

I'm linking up with the SWAT Christmas card challenge.

And Crafty Hazelnut's blog anything goes.

Also I am announcing my winner from the Coffee Blog Hop last week.. the winner of a $10 Starbucks gift card.....
Random org picked #13:

I don't know why I've never thought to cut my own raffia paper - it certainly would make using up all those paper scraps easier! This is such a cute way to give a gift card that packs a nice surprise!
Thanks for the chance to win some goodies!

Becca your giftcard went postal yesterday, thanks soooo much for stopping by and playing along..

Dream Big.

Hello and good morning...

Happy Tuesday!!! I'm up over on the My Scraps & more blog today.

Usually with the AC Amy Tangerine lines in the past, I have mainly made girl pages with the papers and embellies, but I have to say the Stitched line has a ton of versatile papers that can be used for boy or girl projects. I used alot of the blues, grays and whites on this layout of my son. He went on a 50 mile Scout hike this past summer with his troop and was gone a week. Talk about an accomplishment. I was VERY impressed and he LOVED every moment. I sent him with a camera, hoping he would come home with a decent amount of photos. He came home with a bit over 120 photos, so I was a happy momma...

I ended up stitching around the edge of the page to pull it all together several of the wording stickers from the collection:

I also decided to use a pop of yellow on the page, and added a Lawn Fawn wooden leaf wood shape on the layout.

And added a few pops of color with the enamels and Thickers for the title of the layout:

Just in case you haven't checked out the Amy Tangerine Stitched line, I would... it's pretty amazing!!!

Thanks sooo much for stopping by today and have a great day!!!

Our Fave Christmas.

Hello and good morning...

Our main purpose here at IE is to challenge ourselves, each other and YOU to take the creative process to the next level;  to inspire growth and change in our scrapbooking beyond our usual boundaries.
You can see all of Inspiration Elevator's previous challenges on Facebook .

This month's challenge is issued by the creative Lisa Moen. Lisa is a busy scrapbooker who takes on every creative challenge with gusto; she works layering and clustering beautifully. This month she has a seasonal challenge for us. Here it is in her own words:

" Scrap A Christmas Past.
We all have them- one Christmas that sticks out more in our minds than others. Maybe it was when you were a child or maybe it was more recent. Maybe it was a gift you received that makes it memorable. Maybe a special visitor? Create a page, with or without photos and tell us the story behind that Christmas.."

I decided to scrap the year that our lil December baby was born. Her original due date was Dec 22, but I was scheduled to have her on Dec 15.. well she decided to be early and was born on her own on Dec 7th. Well let's just say, really our only focus that Christmas was our new little baby. I don't recall anything I got for Christmas that year and our gift giving was probably pretty small. But we just enjoyed her and her coming into our family.

I used some Echo Park papers for this page. I added some journaling about why it was our fave christmas here:

And then fussy cut the ornaments for the bottom of the page:

We encourage you to check out each designer's creation this month: here's a complete list of this month's participating designers!
Why not give the challenge a try yourself? Then pop by our Facebook page and share with us what you created!

Thanks sooo much for stopping by and have a great day!!!

Disney Magic.

Hello and good morning....

Up on the Craft Hoarders Anonymous challenge blog is a new challenge to play along with. A way to get into your stash and use it up!!!
Challenge #22 Have a Nice Trip!
Many of us travel around the holidays, so let's celebrate our adventures! Dig into your hoard and find some items that are vacation or travel themed. Do you have a hoard of cruise ship ephemera? Do you have a box of transportation stamps? Do you have a stash of camping themed papers? Or piles of Disney embellishments? Show them off! Create a vacation or travel themed project for us!

I decided to scrap some of our Disney photos... we have a TON of photos  from going there over the years and I've hardly even made a dent in scrapping them all. These photos are from California Adventures in summer 2012, when Cars land just opened.

I used some older Simple Stories Magic papers and embellies for this layout. I honestly didn't buy enough of them, and only have a few more left from purchasing them. I should of known I had a million photos to scrap from Disney... LOL

And then I added a sticker element at the top and a bit of stitching...

The sponsor for this month is Spellbinders... their dies are amazing!!! I've been using them for quite a long time.

And check out the amazing prize!!!!

You can check out what everyone else did for the challenge:

Hope you get a chance to play along.
Thanks sooo much for stopping by and have a great day!!!!

2 Buddies.

Hello and good morning...

Happy Friday!!! We are getting a crazy amount of rain today..  So we will be staying inside and enjoying it.. maybe cuddling up and watching movies when the kids get home from school.

I took these photos of our lil one out with our dog in the backyard. She really loves our dog, Lily and they are quite the little buddies, it's really cute to watch.

I used my December Scrapbook Circle kit with this page and played along with the Silver and Gold challenge. I used the gold triangle shaped vellum and put it up... then added a couple of silver accents- the number 2 and a *.

Then just added some misting, enamel stars and wood circles

I used the Memory Nest No 30 sketch for my layout.

Thanks sooo much for stopping by and have a great weekend!!!
