Sydney's Top 10 @ age 11.

Hello and good morning...

Half way there!!!! Can't believe July is winding down and starting to come to an end!!! ACK!!!

I scrapped this page of my oldest daughter, the challenge at My Scraps Got Talent challenge #9 was to use a top 10 on your page. It was a reminder that sometimes I need to sit down and ask the kids their fave things. I usually know most of them but every now and again they surprise me.

I used MME Market Street line for my page and also the July MME sketch.
I used MME mini alphas and then some thickers for the larger title:

And fussy cut the scallops from the paper and added a few stickers and enamels.

Hope you all have a great day...

Thanks sooo much for stopping by...

What Does the Fox Say?

Hello and good morning...

I'm up over on the My Scraps & More blog today.
I know you have all heard that song... What Does the Fox Say by now, if not, well you escaped quite the song craze.

For one of the daily challenges in the My Scraps forum, I gave the challenge to use a song title for your layout title and then to actually add an animal on your page somewhere- whether through a photo or embellie or paper. I used October Afternoon's Public Library collection for this layout.

For Easter the kids each got a fox Easter basket, so the photos were perfect.. along with the fox on the actual journal cards from the OA collection.

I used the fun mixed colored font Thickers on the layout, along with some of the OA mini alphas and then added some doodling around each letter so they didn't get lost on the page.

So check out the Public Library, not the one near your house, but in the My Scraps store...  it's a wonderful line and has lots of adorable critters on it.

Thanks sooo much for stopping by and have a great day!!!

Thanks sooo much for stopping by and have a great night!!!

Easter

Hello and good morning...

Happy Monday and hope you have a great weekend!!! I made a major opps and posted this page on accident two weeks ago, and got my weeks messed up...

I scrapped these photos of the kids on Easter, one before and one after their Easter egg hunt. I actually used a mix of papers and products. I even used a patterned paper for the background, something I rarely do, I'm usually always grabbing for cardstock.

I added a lil twine banner on the corner of the page:

and some soft misting with butterflies:

Here is the sketch: ( I l fipped my page on the side)

Moxxie Summer Blog Hop

Hello! and good morning.....
Welcome the the Summer time fun Moxxie blog hop!
Today our talented designers are going to show you fun summer projects using many different lines.

For this layout I actually used the Happy Camper collection. This is a really great line to use with summer camping and outdoor pages, but I decided to mix it up a bit and use it on this page, since the colors worked well with the fox baskets on their heads.

I fussy cut the hexagons from the Uninvited Guests  paper and then randomly placed them and added some stitching through the page:

So let's hop right to it shall we? Here is the list of blogs to check out:

Play.

Hello and good morning...

Half way through the week and almost there!! closer to the weekend.

Memorial Day weekend we had gone to the park and I took a few photos of my little one playing. It was one of the first times she was actually keeping a ponytail in her hair, so I was kinda excited.

I used my July Scrapbook Circle kit and the July Scrapbook Circle sketch for this layout.
I saw the twine in the kit and just decided to randomly place it across the page:

and add some random misting and triangles.. I'm always a sucker for the viewmaster images:

I'm also playing along with Paper Issues Say cheese challenge thanks sooo much for stopping by and have a great day!!!!
