Road Trip- Practical Scrapping Our Stash Hop.

Hello and good morning...

Happy Friday!!!! I'm excited since tomorrow we will be at soccer all days and I will be coaching three games.. I honestly LOVE it and can't wait....

Well for the Practical Scrappers Use Your Stash Blog Hop, you should have arrived from Christine's blog... If you got lost, you can start at Juliana's blog

I actually got to scrap just for fun and it felt soooo good. I scrapped a photo from last summer's road trip, all of us in the car traveling together. I used some oooolllddd MME Now and Then.. I'm still always a fan of their older lines.

I added some washi and a bit of wood pieces on the page:

And of course had to get just a wee bit messy with a bit of misting:

I used the April 15 Stuck sketch for my page.

Now you are off to check out the wonderful Monique....

Thanks sooo much for stopping by and have a GREAT weekend!!!!

Sweet.

Hello and good morning...

Hope you are all doing well... I haven't totally dropped off the face of the earth.. but maybe almost. I'm just hanging out at the soccer fields 5 days a week, and then the baseball field on the other day and whats left of Saturdays, and then trying to catch up on everything in the world on Sunday... Hopefully summer will mellow out right.. LOL....

Anyways.. here is a page I did using the latest sketch from Sketches in Thyme to play along with.
Its a photo of my lil on after her gymnastics class, which she just loves. She always comes away to happy, and also super excited to come home and try out her new moves that she's just learned.

I added a larger title for the page, I just LOVE that script font.. along with some enamels and misting:

And some fun top of the page details:

Here is the sketch, so hope you get a chance to play along with it:

Seriously, thank you sooooo much for stopping by.. I'm sorry I've been blog loving flakey.. I'm going to try and work on that as soon as I can...

Have a great day!!!

1st Place.... April Craft Hoarders Anyonymous Blog Hop.

Hello and good morning.....

Welcome to the Craft Hoarders Anonymous Blog Hop.. You should have arrived here from Debbie's blog..  If you are lost, start off at Gloria's blog..
Today I sharing a layout with us using an older, but one of my favorite lines, the Fancy Pants Trendsetter collections. I LOVE the color combo and could work with these colors everyday... The photo is from our soccer teams last game of the season. I coached these girls and we came in first place for our season.... and we were undefeated.. These girls were amazing and worked hard for their title, and I am so proud.

I mixed and matched for my title work:

And added some journaling with my all time fave marker- a fine lined Sharpie pen:

I used the April 1st Stuck sketch for this layout also.

Thanks sooo much for stopping by and have a great day!!!

Capitol Reef.

Hello and good morning...

Hope you all had a great Easter weekend.. We are on spring break this week, so I'm excited to do some fun things with the kids.

Here is my take on the latest Sketches In Thyme sketch for my week #4 reveal.

I scrapped some photos from our last summer's trip to Capitol Reef, Utah.. If you haven't ever been, I would recommend it. It's a gorgeous National Park, tons of hiking.. and Goblin's Valley is such a cool place for the kids to run around and explore.

Close of up of mixed title work:

Of course com enamels and misting:

Here is the week #4 sketch:

I also used my March and earlier Scrapbook Circle kit for the March Green challenge too.

Big Yay with Butterflies.

Hello and good morning...

Happy Monday!!!! I feel like a blogging slacker and blogging commenting slacker.. My life has gotten kinda crazy with sports and I have had pretty much zero crafting time.. I'm coaching two soccer teams (my two daughters U14 and U5- which I LOVE being out there coaching and on the field), and my son is in full baseball spring season) I'm going to try and find my balance and get back to leaving comments and stopping by.. and hopefully more crafting soon.

Up on the Cards in Envy blog is the latest card challenge to play along with.
The challenge: BEAUTIFUL BUTTERFLIES.

Here's my card:

I punched out some butterflies with one of my fave punches to make sure that I matched my butterflies to the papers I was working with and added sequin centers:

Here are a few reminders about our challenge requirements:

  • No lumpy, bumpy cards.  Elements on your card need to be relatively flat (no thicker than 1/4") so your card would fit in an envy (envelope) for mailing

I fussy cut a few diamonds, added some enamels and mist splats.. and a few pieces from the ephemera pack:

And decided to go with white lettering to pop of the kraft cardstock:

Crocodile Friend- Practical Scrappers Use Your Stash Blog Hop..

Hello and good morning...

Happy Friday!!!! If you're like me, you are more than ready for the weekend. We start back up baseball season, so we will be there on Saturday, and the next Saturdays through May, I'm sooo excited...

You should have arrived here from the lovely Sandy's blog on the Practical Scrapper Use Your Stash Blog hop... If you want to start at the beginning you can head over to Katrina's blog where the fun started...

Here is my layout of my lil one. She has had an imaginary crocodile friend that she brings along with her places. Today she brought him with her, and held him on the leash all day, so I had to take a photo of her with her "friend".

I used the Bella Blvd Molly line for my page, it's still a fave of mine...
I added several stickers from the line and some enamels:

And added some journaling about her "crocodile friend" too:

I used the Stuck Feb 15 sketch for my layout here.

Now head over to the talented Lee-Ann's blog for more inspiration...

Thanks sooo much for stopping by and have a great day!!!!!
