Dodger Blue.

Hello and good morning...

Happy Monday!! Hope you had a great weekend...

Up on the Let's Get Sketchy blog is the week #4 sketch to play along with.
For Halloween I decided to wear my son's baseball uniform and go as a Dodger baseball player. Kinda cool wearing his number and name on my back.

I added some misting splats and went with raw wood veener for emellies on the page:

Along with layers and a punched border down the side:

Here is the sketch:

Hope you get a chance to play along, I'd love to check it out!!

Thanks sooo much for stopping by and have a great day!!!

One Happy Girl.

Hello and good morning...

Hope you are enjoying the weekend and getting some down time and relaxing a bit. This has been our first no so busy weekend in quite a while, so it's been kinda nice.

Even though it's not my week for a team reveal, I thought I would play along with the week 3 sketch over at Let's Get Sketchy.

I scrapped some pics of my little one reading her book with a blanket inside a laundry basket. Not sure what she was thinking, I just walked in and found her this way, so I grabbed the camera. Yup, she cracks me up sometimes with the things she comes up with.

I actually used my Dec Scrapbook Circle kit for this page, but did a totally non holiday page and used most of the back sides of the papers. I added a pop of gold and white twine, I'm gonna have to get some more forsure:

And used some gold thicker wording for part of the title:

Thanks sooo much for stopping by and have a great day!!!!

Sweetheart.

Hello and good morning...

I'm up over on the My Scraps & More blog today.
Some times there are those moments when you look outside and see your little one doing something so dang cute, you drop everything and go take a picture.. This was one of those times. My daughter was playing baseball with her big older brother and she wanted to dress up in full gear just like he does when he plays. It was just too cute not to miss capturing.

I used Crate's Kiss Kiss collection for this page and loved all the fun emellies that came in the ephemera pack. Once I layed down all my papers, I decided to layer on the embellies.

I added some "strips" at the bottom of the page, some journaling, a quote and then just a fun envie embellie with enamels and more embellies:

I just used one of the precut diecuts for my title and then added some layered arrows to highlight it:

I added just a bit of stitching to highlight the smaller arrow on the side of the page:

So make sure to check out what's left of the Kiss Kiss line before it's gone.. it's not just for Valentines pages...

Thanks soo much for stopping by and have a great day!!!

I Hope You Dance.

Hello and good morning...

I'm up over on the Got Moxxie blog today
Well CHA just finished up not too long ago, and all the cool new releases are out!!!! I'm sharing with you a layout from the Tiny Dancer collection.. I was super excited to see this line come out, esp since I have a little one in dance right now, and my older daughter had done dance for years before... so I've got quite a few dance pictures to pick from.

Here is my older daughter from about 4 years ago after one of her Christmas recitals.

The collection comes with the sticker set, and I added the swirls with some pop dots underneath for a bit of dimension:

I also used several of the wording from the cutouts from the line:

And then added some bling throughout the polka dots, and added a scallop punch to the top of the page:

Here is the actual Tiny Dancer collection:

Thanks sooo much for stopping by and have a great day!!!

Products used:
TD-1506 Cutouts
TD-1503 Time to Dance
TD-1504 Shine

Happy Birthday In Gray.

Hello and good morning...

Happy Monday!!! hope you all had a great weekend!!!

Up on the Cards In Envy blog is the latest challenge to play along with.
The challenge: going Gray.

For this one, I came up with a gray birthday card.. I honestly really love the color gray and just don't use it enough.

With pops of enamels and a lil bag:

Here are a few reminders about our challenge requirements:
  1. No square cards.  All cards entered must be A2 size (4.25" x 5.5")
  2. No lumpy, bumpy cards.  Elements on your card need to be relatively flat (no thicker than 1/4")
  3. Limit entries to 3 per challenge.
  4. No Back Linking.  Cards must be posted to your blog or online album during the challenge dates.  If it was posted online BEFORE the beginning of our challenge, it cannot be linked.
  5. Entry must be for the current theme: Going GRAY (Mostly Gray on the card--a tiny bit of other color okay)

Thanks sooo much for stopping by and have a great day!!!!

Baptism.

Hello and good morning...

Happy Friday!!!! I know I am totally ready for the weekend, so brang it!!

Up on the Moxxie blog they are highlighting some of the newer lines that have come out. I used their Faith line for this page of my son on his baptism page. He turned 13 back in August, and was baptized when he was 8... wow he looks sooo small!!

Because this is a special day, I wanted to use a minimal style on the page, not to distract from the photo and the theme of it.

I stitched some circles with my sewing machine and then added the title around it:

And of course added some journaling for the special day:

And here is the Faith collection:

Thanks sooo much for stopping by and have a great weekend!!!!
