Hangin With Snoopy.

Hello and good morning...

Happy Tuesday!!!! I'm up over on the My Scraps & More blog today.

I'm sharing a layout with you using the Echo Park Our Family mini collection kit for another layout. The photo is from Thanksgiving, we went to Knott's Berry Farm and had their amazing dinner!!! The kids loved it- they could go back as many times as they wanted, and I loved it because I didn't have to cook or clean!! win win...

The kids took a photo with Snoopy who was walking around, my little one was a bit too shared to be in the photo:

I added a large cork arrow and some wood hexagons- totally out of my stash:

And then used a mask to mist with and added a handful of brads- another item from my stash that hasn't been seeing enough love of lately, so I thought I would pull them out:

So if you already haven't, check out the mini collections from Echo Park. The pack goes really far and you can make quite a few layouts with it- and it includes stickers, tags and papers...

This layout is also up on the Sketches in Thyme blog for reveal with sketch #154

Thanks so much for stopping by and have a great day!!!!

Our Family of 5.

Hello and good morning....

Happy Tuesday!!! I'm up over on the My Scraps & More blog today.

One thing that I always enjoy working with are the Echo Park Mini Theme Collection kits.. I feel like everything I need is in the kit to make a fun page. It's got the papers, stickers and tags for journaling or layering with. The kits also make several pages. I used this kit on two pages already and I still have supplies to make a couple more. I LOVED the Our Family mini collection kit, because I knew it would work with any theme, or photos that I had to scrap.
I used a photo from last Thanksgiving of our family together.

Pretty much everything on the page is from the kit. Minus a few mini October Afternoon alphas (I might just have a serious supply collection of these....) to finish off the title, and then I added a few bling pieces for a little pop of texture:

And just added a pop of stitching at the top of the page..

So seriously, if you haven't picked up the Echo Park Mini collection kits.. check them out!! They are great when you are going to a crop and don't want to prep too much, or just want to sit down and make a few pages with the same collection. If you need any ideas for page sketches, also check out the latest sketch on the My Scraps & more sketch blog, esp the June 19 sketch which was just posted on Friday.

Thanks soooo much for stopping by and have a great day!!!!

Today.

Hello and good morning...

Happy Tuesday!!!
I'm up over on the My Scraps & More blog today.

Today I am sharing a layout with you using Studio Calico's 7 Paper -Amelia. I decided to use a bold pattern paper for the main background of the page. I usually don't do this, but since I'm scrapping a "tween" page, I wanted to go kinda funky and fun with the layout. I used the Amelia paper #010.

I used several of the wording strips from the collection to add some jouranling on the page:

Then I added some free doodles through out the page, to break up all the pink, and add a pop of black in the background:

So break out that bold paper and use it on a background. Don't let it scare ya... sometimes your page just needs that extra POP of color to give it some extra life..

Thanks soooo much for stopping by and have a great day!!!!

Hello and good morning...

Happy Monday!!!!  What a weekend... and they are always just too dang short too.

Up on the Cards in Envy blog is the new card challenge to play along with.
The challenge: Red, White and Blue.

Here's what I came up with:

  2. No lumpy, bumpy cards.  Elements on your card need to be relatively flat (no thicker than 1/4")

Thanks A Latte card. (summer coffee lovers blog hop)

Hello and good morning..

Happy Wednesday!!!

I got the chance to make a card just for the heck of it. I wanted to play along with the Summer Coffee Lovers blog hop...

I heard about it from the very talented and lovely Amy T.

I created this card the some AC Shimelle True Stories papers, that I am super in love with, esp the coffee cups in the line and couldn't resist to use one on my card:

I used some OA mini alphas for the sentiment and a puffy heart:

There's still some time to play along, so link on up and check out all the amazing projects created for the hop...

ALSO I will be doing a **random RAK giveaway** to one luckily commenter... A $10 Starbucks giftcard so you can have a latte or two on me :)

Thanks sooo much for stopping by and have a great day!!!!!
