Catcher.

Hello and good morning....

I'm up over on the Moxxie blog today.
I'm sharing a layout with you using the All Star Baseball collection
My son is a huge baseball lover and enjoys playing the game, esp his position of catcher. He started playing a few years back and just loves the action of catching, and we've really seen him improve at it this year, esp playing on the large field.

I decided to use a chevron focal point down the side of the page, pointing to the word baseball:

I used a red pen to outline some layered circles to focus in on the photo:

I have to say I am sooo in LOVE with this line, it's great and so fun to work with.
Thanks sooo much for stopping by and have a great day!!!!

Go.

Hello and good morning...

Happy Tuesday!!! I'm up over on the My Scraps & More blog today.

I'm here sharing with you another sports page, and again I used a "travel" collection with my baseball photos. I used Pink Paislee's Atlas since the blues and fun arrows in the line were perfect with the team colors I am working with.

I actually used several of the Jillibean Soup label stickers through the page , some for journaling and others I added embellies to, popping them out from behind the papers. Along with some of the Jillibean cork pieces and a few of the Chickannidy Crafts enamel triangle shapes:

I used a banner punch for the banner shapes and topped it off with a bit of twine:

Slugger.

Hello and good morning....

I'm up over on the Moxxie blog today.
I'm sharing a layout with you using the All Star Baseball collection.  One of my favorite things to do, is watch my son's baseball games, esp now that he is older, I love how intense the games get and it's so nice to just be out at the baseball field.

I used the All Star Cut out banner and then added some sticker and word strips on it:

And I added the "baseball" word strip, which is for the bonus strip from the bottom of the page:

I then added a cut in half baseball sticker and made some pennants to hang down, and topped it off with some stitching:

This line is perfect for all those baseball, coach pitch, tball pictures that you have ready to scrap.

Thanks sooo much for stopping by and have a great day!!!!

Epic Egg Hunt Journey.

Hello and good morning...

Happy Thursday!!! I know I've been slacking on the blog front lately, it's been super busy and I haven't had as much time to scrap... which makes me pretty dang sad. But yesterday I finally got to sit down and scrap a page.

The photo is of our little one at Easter time on an egg hunt. She remembered what to do from last year and was super excited to go looking for those eggs.

I used my May Scrapbook Circle kit, which I was super excited to dive into it. I mixed some alphas for the title and loved the cool clear triangle embellie in the kit:

And of course added a bit of misting on the page, and added some white on white circle stitching:

I used the May 1 Stuck sketch for this layout.

Thanks sooo much for stopping by and have a great day!!!

My Loves.

Hello and good morning...

Happy Tuesday!!!! I'm up over on the My Scraps & More blog.

I scrapped this photo of the three kids from Easter, and wow did it match the Crate Craft Market line perfectly or what??? I honestly never try on purpose to match what the people are wearing to a collection itself, but this kinda just worked out that way. Plus this color scheme happens to be one of my favorites to work with. I fussy cut several of the tags from the project paper and added them under the photo.

I added lots of layers down the side of the page, and several of the die cut pieces from the ephemera pack:

And then added touches of misting splats and some fun pink Thickers for the title:

The Craft Market line contains lots of golds, krafts and muted colors... perfect for those spring and summer photos.. or some vintage photos would look amazing too.... So make sure to check it out!!!

Thanks sooo much for stopping by and have a great day!!!!

Hello and good morning!!!

Happy Friday!!!! I'm totally ready for the weekend, but ours it almost totally packed!! ACK!! but it's all with good things, so I won't complain.

I completely spaced on posting the cards I made with the wonderful April All Year Cheer Card Kit from Apron Strings last month.. I think with the kids soccer and baseball schedules, plus coaching my daughter's soccer team, and my daughter's bday, and a sister visiting us.... my mind could only handle so many things. LOL!!!

So here are the cards that I came up with for this kit.. it's really a SUPER cool kit, I loved everything in it!!! IT contained one of my fave Echo Park lines,  Heidi Swapp, and Fancy Pants... of course it had TONS of embellies. I always have some left over, which is great.

BE AWESOME:

HAPPY BDAY:

HI card:

LUV V tag:

REACH FOR THE STARS:

Watching You Play.

Hello and good morning....

Happy Tuesday!!!! I'm up over on the My Scraps & More blog today.

Right now we are totally in the middle of my son's baseball season and gearing up for the playoffs pretty soon. I am always a sucker for sports pages and LOVE to scrap them, even with non themey sports papers. I used the October Afternoon Treasure Map, which is kinda travel/summery/ ocean collection and totally used it on a sports layout.

I actually used a pack of Crate embellies that I placed under the photo for layering:

And used some October Afternoon mini alphas for a super long title, I LOVED the view finder and thought it worked with the title:

And then added a punched border through the center of the page.

So remember, mix it up!!! Just because a collection is themed for a particular event or theme, doesn't mean you have to use it for that purpose....

Thanks sooo much for stopping by and have a great day!!!!
