My Sketch World Aug Sketch

This month for the August My Sketch World sketch, it's a 2 pager.. I'm not a 2 pager girl but I LOVE the push to do one, and this sketch made it soooo easy to get my pictures on the page. These photos are from when we went to Kolob Canyon in March. It was soo pretty, sunny and crisp blue sky, and lovely white snow scattered on the mountains. At the top of the drive was about 2 1/2 feet deep snow. Austin, Jeremy and his brothers jumped on in, and had a snowball fight. brrrrr. I also used the Echo Park Life is Good line for the pages... sooo fun and love the colors of it..

Well today I got busy on some much needed birthday cards, and this week over at 365 card challenge blog, they had sketch week going on. I couldn't resist, I broke out the cards, and got busy.. I actually got all the sketches done this week and was totally excited. I didn't finish by dark, so the indoor photos aren't the best.

Week #3 Camp Paradise

Well we're on to week 3 of Camp Paradise.. that's right things are moving along.. so for this week, I am on the Arts and Crafts challenge for this week..

Here is my example page, I used the sooo adorable and sweet line from Little Yellow Bicycle Snuggle Bug Girl line... I just love the cute caterpillar and dragonfly's. I used a baby photo of Sydney for this page, the line just was too cute to not use a baby photo.

My Buddy....

Here is a page that I just got done. I used the Twisted Sketch # 59 with the twist of STAR on the page.. It also worked towards one of the camp paradise challenge for the camp spirit challenge- the challenge was: 2 fave CS, 3x5 pic, white space, mist and a handmade flower.. So here's what I created.. I LOVE the fun monster sticker, it's from a tag on Austin's shirt that we got.. its sooo cute...

Here is a page that I created for Sketches by Tamara's journaling challenge.. journal on a tag.. so here is mine, and a recent photo, well from May, of my sister Kim who came to visit for a mom and sisters weekend.. She recently moved to TX with her dang stinkin cute babies and adorable Brody.. just going to have to make a trip out there...

It's beginning to look alot like Christmas.... not..LOL!!! I'm not ready for snow, I'm enjoying summer.. but I did created this card with the sketchy sunday sketch at 365 card challenge blog for Ann's Christmas in July card challenge for the weekend MSW crop, and you had to use eyelets.. I pulled out these waaaay old school MM letter and number eyelets.. remember those? I didn't even know I still had them.. but here they are.

Recipe Card

Here is a card I created using Cheryl's recipe challenge at the weekend MSW crop- CS, at least 2 PP, flowers and brads or buttons ( I used brads) and then used the Card Patterns sketch #74 for it. I just got these embossed metallic flowers from Prima.. and they are stunning gorgeous.. I'm going to have to use them again..

Sweet Summertime Echo Park

Sweet Summertime from Echo Park.. ok I think I am sooo in LOVE with it.. the colors are soooo fun and summery, and I won't lie, that my FAVE time of year to scrap. I love summer photos, outdoors, at the beach, at the pool and most of the time, kids playing and having a smile on their face. I went crazy with this line and created until the WHOLE pack was gone... I just couldn't put it down.. So here's what I've gotten done....

Echo Park - Life Is Good

Well here are the last of the latest projects that I created with the Life is Good line from Echo Park. Yup, I love it, love it, love it.. and I see a whole lot more projects coming along with this line and can't wait to get started on them. It can go boy, girl, or whatever, and I love a line that can do that. It makes it tons easier since I have a boy and girl to scrap for. But I can't say enough about the fun mix of colors and love how they look.....

Life Is Good- Echo Park

Talk about an incredibility fun and extremely versatile new line from Echo Park... The new Life Is Good line is amazing!! I really can't say enough about it. I also have a couple of other projects that I got done with it, but here are just some. I LOVE the fun cute little houses on in the line, so I know I'll be using more of those soon too. The colors are sooo gorgeous and rich. I just love how well they work together.. I have reallly enjoyed this line sooo much, I know I can't wait to start creating more!!!

Camp Paradise Week #2

well it's onto to week #2 at Camp Paradise at Croppin Paradise... lots going on, and a whole new batch of challenge to start your week off right.. Here is my newest challenge, all about Music & Drama. The song that influenced this challenge is " Mr Golden Sun," a song my kids used to love and would get stuck in my head like crazy!!!! so you need to add a SUN and RAINBOW on your page... Here's my example using the super fun Bo Bunny Sun Kissed line in the Paradise Store... hope you have your bags packed and ready to get busy at camp.

Card Sketch

A new card sketch is up and posted on the Sketches by Tamara blog... and it's a fun one, lots of options and takes that you can play around with. The DT really mixed it up this week. Here is my card, I decided to go with lots of distressing and crumpling on this one. I think I am in LOVE with my sewing machine again, it seems to be my last touch, go to thing right now and I love the added texture it creates.. Hope you get to play along.

Angel..... a 12x12x12 challenge

This was a mainly family weekend, usually this a time when I get more of a chance to scrap.. but this weekend was all about family.. Here is the latest page I got done, I just wanted to share.. I was really happy about how it turned out. The challenge.. a 12x12x12 challenge from Kristin at Memorable Seasons- use a 12" hand cut swirl that goes the length of your 12" page, use 12 cut out flowers and then 12 brads, buttons or bling centers, I used 12 bling brads for the centers of my flowers. and ta-da here it is...
