My Scraps January Kit Reveal

Hello and good morning... 
I am soooo excited to share my January Kit reveals with you today.

I got the pleasure of working with this wonderful kit from The My Scraps and More store,
It's the "You are my... Happy" kit:

I was able to get several layouts completed with this kit, and of several different subjects. Talk about alot of variety from a kit!!!
This first page is of my little sweet heart. It was taken a few months ago, and her blue eyes just popped in the photos, and the blues from this kit are perfect to use with the photo:

I created lots of layers with the papers, and distressed them. I also added some ribbon pleats and sewed over it:

I added some misting (from my stash) and torn open several of the papers, because I thought both sides of the papers would work for this page:

and I LOVE the fun journaling spots from the kit, they are perfect to jot down the important facts:

For my second page, I used some photos of my sweet little nieces at my sisters wedding:

The polka dot patterned papers worked perfectly with their polka dot dresses. The bling and ribbon work so well with their papers:

Last page, is of my son from his 5th grade graduation last year:

The kit has several fun shaped tabs and tags to use on your page. I spread mine out, and added lots of stitching across the page:

Tammi also threw in some washi tape, which has been my go to embellie lately...
