"A" birthday card...

Hello and good morning...

Happy Monday!!! Well.... it's that time of the year... back to school, and today is the first day for all 3 of our kids to go back.
 
Up on the Cards In Envy blog is the latest card challenge to play along with.
The challenge: Color Challenge. Yellow and Black.... Create a card featuring these two colors which must be prominent on your card.

Here is my card for the challenge:

I used a mix of a couple of older lines from Echo Park, that worked perfectly for this challenge. I went to take a close up, and realized when I uploaded it, that my pic was blurry (oooppps)... and the card is already on the way to someone.

Here are a few reminders about our challenge requirements.

• No lumpy, bumpy cards.  Elements on your card need to be relatively flat (no thicker than 1/4") so your card would fit in an envy (envelope) for mailing
• Limit entries to 3 per challenge.
• No Back Linking--cards must be posted to your blog or an online album during the challenge dates. If it was posted online BEFORE the beginning of our challenge, it cannot be linked.
• Entry must be for the current theme.
• Cards Only Color Challenge.
