Ruby Red Slippers

This year for Halloween, Sydney has wanted to be Dorothy from the Wizard of Oz. I said, as long as we can find some ruby red slippers than you can... and WE DID!!!! Right at Target, man I love that store!!!! and so after that came the costume, which my sister sewing sister, Kristine crafted up for Sydney to wear. I mean you gotta have the shoes to be Dorothy... So here are some photos of Sydney in the costume. I used the Sketchy Thursday 1/6 sketch and also worked it towards one of the weekend crop challenges from Memorable Seasons # 10, to use the word October on your page, add red- hence the title and a couple of embellies and 10 circles- all on the embellies.. I also used the Oct Lucky Girls kit which was super cute and fun, and I just adore those little whoo-ligans from Bo Bunny.

    Great Halloween Layout!

As we're currently re-reading the Oz books (first read for the Little Guy) I have to point out that Dorothy doesn't actually wear Ruby slippers ;)
