Love Story.

well I was looking at the Elle's Studio Love Story kit and totally feel in LOVE with it when it came out... I totally knew I had to get it... I LOVE the mix and match of it too... it's super fun. I played along with this page called Our Daddy to the 2.02 Elle's Studio sketch. This photo is from Feb 05!!! Wow.. talk about a long time ago, and how lil the kids both are. I found some older pics and decided to scrap them.
I added some distressing on the page and fussy cut the cute patterns out here.
I also played along with ScrapFITs# 24 Weekend Warm up: Add a Cluster on your page.. so here is my cluster of embellies and wording:

Here is a second page with the same kit. I used it towards a layout challenge at My Scrap& More American Idol contest going on right now.. It's not too late to play along, so I would totally recommend going on for some fun challenge.
This one is from Ginni and it's all about 50's Hairdos:
the challenge:
Use Glimmer Mist or Spray to represent hair spray
Use rolled paper to represent the curlers we used to have to wear at night (UGH!)
Use some peek-a-boo or hidden journaling to represent the teasing of the hair
Add a border to represent bangs
And you must have a ribbon or a bow to decorate your hairI added some stitching on my banners and lots of misting:
