My Best Friend

I'm up over on the My Scraps and More blog today:
 
One of the recent daily challenges in the forum was a WORD challenge from DT member Lisa. The challenge, to use the word FRIEND on your layout.

One thing that I noticed is that I always scrap my kids friends, and who they play with, but I don't scrap photos of me with my friends as much. So for the challenge, I scrapped some photos of me with my best friends, my husband...

I scrapped two different photos of the two of us together, that were taken over the summer. Who says you have to scrap photos from the same day on your layout? I know that was the old way of thinking, years ago, but I love to mix it up.

I also used one of the word strips, cut it up and then placed the wording apart to make the quote pop off the page more:

Another fun thing I did was layer my washi tape, I have been in LOVE with it lately:

I used Echo Park's For the Record 2 Tailored line found in Tammi's store!!!! I can NOT get enough of this line, and I am kinda sad cuz I'm getting down to just the scraps left!!! I guess I better make sure there is some left to restock my stash...
