December Daily

Hello and good morning...

I am sharing my December Daily album that I created using Basic Grey's Aspen Frost collection pack up over on The Original Scrapbook USA Expo blog. Are you working on a December Daily album? I have wanted to create one for years!!! and have kept meaning to, but never actually doing it. I either know I have too much on my plate, or something else has become a priority. But this year I am going for it, and already have my album done. I just need to add the journaling and photos.

I picked up a journal from Target in the office supplies section:
Next I used the Aspen Frost line to create my cover, which I just used paper, a few of the Element stickers  and some of the Die Cut shapes.
I added a bit of bling from my stash and some twine.
The inside cover page I created looks like this:
And here are the first few pages to show you what I did. I just added a few strips of paper to the left side, and maybe a die cut or sticker. And then on the right side, I cut apart of the Garland and added numbers for the dates.

I'm trying to focus on the journaling aspect of December, and then add a photo or two.

So what are you working on for December??? make sure to share with us in the comments if you are working on an album, I'd love to check it out.

Have a wonderful day!!!!

  1. That is a GREAT idea to use a journal book -- I have struggled with my journal tags with enough room to write everything I want :) I loveeeeeeeee this!! Merry Christmas!!!

  2. Love that you are using an old fashioned simple journal notebook!! I think I needed to stick with something of that sorts. I started a December Daily for the first time as well.. but haven't gotten very far. I have taken the photos. but bought an 8 x 8 album instead and I think that is what is intimidating me. Like I am making 25 layouts. I may revamp. :) I will share here and/or on my blog if I get done. FYI... there is a "Month in Review" Challenge over at http://kcclayoutchallenges.blogspot.ca/2012/12/month-in-review-1.html that this qualifies for. :) You have until January 2nd and there will be a prize. Merry Christmas to you!!
