Hello and good morning...
Well it's Monday... and I'm totally not with it today.. but I'm up.. thank goodness for summer right?
Here is the latest sketch for week #2 at Let's Get Sketchy to get your mojo going:
and here is my take on it, I flipped the photos and used two side by side. The photos are of the kids at their end of the school year music recorder concert. They were both sooo excited to perform and worked really hard in their music classes. Each time they learned a song and got it signed off, they received a ribbon of a different color to keep. That's why they have some ribbons hanging off their recorders.
I used Crate's The Pier line for this page, plus I mixed and matched different elements for a subtitle:
And added some stitching on the side pennants, and then added sewing around the main zig zags on the page:
Hope that you will play along and can't wait to see what you come up with..
Happy Monday!!!
