Cards and Triangles

Hello and good afternoon....

I'm sharing a post up on the Scrapbook Steals blog today.

Today I am going to share with you some fun ways to use your every day triangles. Triangles are a great shape to add some fun eye candy to your scrapbook projects.

First up: use your triangles to guide your eye.
As you layer your triangles you can guide it to a focal point, a photo, a title or even just down the length or your project.

I layered mine down my card and then stitched over them several times to add some texture.

Second: create a fun pop of shapes on your project with fussy cutting.

I first put the triangle paper on the card, then I fussy cut out several triangles and used my pop dots to raise a few of them up. You really get a better feel for the shape this way on your project.

Third: create your own embellishments
I decided to make a pinwheel for a focal point on the card.

I just cut out a few triangles, arranged them in the shape, and added some pop dots. I also finished it with a button and some twine.
So go ahead and get playful with your shapes .
These are the last three cards I made with the Apron Strings March All Year Cheer Kit using the Pebbles papers in the kit.
Thanks sooo much for stopping by and have a great day!!!!!
