My Scraps & More blog hop

Hello and welcome to the My Scraps & More National Scrapbook Day Blog Hop!  You should have arrived here from Tracy's blog.

Each of the 6 designers has used one of the items in the image below in a project.

Hop along to each blog to see how they used the product, then leave a comment for each DT member. One random winner will be chosen from one of the DT's blogs to win each of the items that the design team used! Comments close on Sunday, May 4th at midnight and the winner will be posted on the My Scraps & More blog on Monday, May 5th

Your kit will include:
2 Jillibean Soup Placements
October Afternoon All Boy 6x8 paper pack
Jillibean Soup Wooden Nickles
Fancy Pants Nautical envelopes & pockets
Simple Stories DIY kraft labels
Fancy Pants Artist Edition Chalk Tape

I used the October Afternoon All Boy 6x8 paper pack on my projects.
I created this layout of my son when he performed in his sixth grade jump rope show at his school.

I added some gesso and mist on my background:
And then fussy cut several images from the paper to use as embellies:

I also made this card for my nephew's upcoming birthday:

Also, be sure to check out and LIKE our Facebook page for a chance to win ANOTHER prize!

  8. I'm not really doing the blog hop (although I may)... just stopped to say HI! :) And I love this layout. Fun background you did and all the fussy cutting is great! The bricks on your background really complete the story of your son and his jump roping. Reminds me of olden days when kids would jump rope in the streets of downtown busy cities. :)
