Sketches By Tamara # 68

1st Day = New Shoes
That's right, the first day of school, I always LOVED wearing new shoes to school, clean and crisp. This year, as Austin started 2nd grade, he got a cool, sweet new pair of shoes to wear. I just had to take a pic.. So I used the sketch from Tamara to guide my page, her sketches are always soo fun..

BOO Baby.. It's Halloween.. well almost

Since it's almost time for my fave holiday, yes Halloween, I was in the altering mood and made this fun little wall hanging.. I used these Bazzill 4x4 chipboard squares I've had forever and been meaning to do something with, and worked out perfectly for this project.. The jump rings were a bit tricky to hold them together, using the Crop A Dile to punch with.. but I did it myself and only pinched my finger once.. ouch.. but it's done and already hanging in the house...

Countdown to Christmas Mini Album

ok, right when I saw this adorable Countdown to Christmas paper from Teresa Collins, with my DT supplies from Scrap Attack Scrapbooking, I knew I had to do something fun and wanted to do something along the lines of a countdown altered item for the kids to do... so I created this fun mini album/ altered item with the line so that they have their own little countdown book and can have fun to see what word will come next by opening the windows....

Here are some of my October projects from Scrap Attack Scrapbooking, I got to use mainly the Teresa Collins Spooktacular Halloween line- WAY adorable, I had some photos left over from last year and all the ones from Cornbellys and the maze are from this year.. Also got to use some of the YUMMY Hambly PPs which were nice and shiny, also the KI Sheer Delights is such a neat texture to use, I really LOVE it.. I think those Pink Paislee sticker alphas are by far way fun and some new faves of mine...

A Father's Love

At the Scrapfest Crop I went to they had a page/ kit layout contest. Where they give you a kit of certain products and you have to use 80% of the kit for your page and enter it into the contest. They only had 20 kits or so to the first 20 who wanted to enter.. I made sure I got mine, and this was the page that I can out with, the only extra things I added were the white CS and the American Craft Thicker letters... well after the judging was over I found out that I won!!! I was sooo excited and my prize was a full month kit from the sponsoring club. Such a fun club.... so just thought I would share my page, I just love that photo of Jeremy and Austin, which was taken on Father's Day.

Pages From Crop

Here are a few of the pages that got done from the crop I went to over a week ago.. I've been such a slacker and haven't posted much, just been busy and adjusting to the new schedule.. But I finally wanted to get what I got done up and posted... so thanks for looking.... I think the "Blue Eyes" one of Sydney is one of my faves, I love the "2nd Grade" photo of Austin- he is getting sooo big.. But the photos for the "Adore, Sweet" of both kids are sooo sweet, and love the Jenni Bowlin line for those photos...
