ScrapFIT workout #72 Color Inspiration

Today you get two blog posts from me, so here is #2...

Today at Scrapfit's Workout #72 there is a gorgeous color scheme to get your crafty inspiration going.. 

The colors:

 And here is what I came up with using these colors on my layout:

This isn't a normal color combo for me to use, but I ended up falling IN LOVE with it!!!! The photo is of me and the kids from last Easter. My sister made a matching dress for Chorley, a skirt for Sydney, and bowtie for Austin and Jeremy. I had a shirt that matched closely, so we all we in color unison that day... I used a sort of vintage tag to place my title on, and added a wooden heart:

I also used a mix match of embellies, some old Prima flower, Sassafras stickers, some Kaiser Craft flowers and a fabric brad.. I pretty much raided my embellies drawer and picked and pulled from several places:

I crinkled the ribbon, pleated it, and then added on some machine sewing, along with some heartfelt journaling...
