Swim On....

Yup it's summer... and usually we are already at the pool A TON but this summer's been a bit different.. I long for the place we went in Utah, the AF swim pool, the kids loved it, great swim lessons, and the kids were old enough I could see them from my fave place to sit.. so we need to find somewhere new here to go, and with a baby is a bit on the hard side..

I always take a TON of photos when the kids swim. I always LOVE how bright the colors of the water, the swimsuits, and sunshine are..ok, colors make me happy.
I used a MME Indie Chick line which I am soooo lovin.. the colors are perfect!!!

I added lots of turquoise misting, inspired by the water in the photo:

I also cut out the pattern of the diamonds in the paper and spread them out on the page:

Then added my photo onto a woodgrain background:

I played along with Inspired BY#33's photo which was perfect for a summer page:

I used the Nuts About Sketches week 222 sketch:

It also went towards a daily challenge at My Scraps & More for day 7/12 to use wood or woodgrain on your layout.. easy enough.
