I was SUPER excited to see this fun challenge from Tiffany on her blog and was totally up for it when I read it....
Here is my page for the challenge:
I used a photo from the kids playing at the splash park this past summer.. I also pulled all my papers and embellies from August Scrapbook Circle kit.
I added the large bloom onto the sun to add some pop to the page:
I also mixed and matched the alphas for the title work:
I used the October Crafting Family sketch for my page.
I also played along with the 10/10 word challenge at My Scraps & More.. the word was PLAY.
So what was Tiffany's challenge?????
The challenge:
That's right... scrap a page in under 20 minutes!!!I did it.. I pulled out my picture, and then grabbed a kit that I know would work perfectly with the photo. The sun was actually already precut out that way, I had been planning to use it on another layout, but it didn't work, so I threw it back into the bag. Everything was at the tips of my fingers to grab and I always spray my mist first, then start cutting out papers and the mists are dry by the time I'm ready to start mounting them to the page.
My time.. 16 minutes, 45 seconds.. BAM!!!!
So try the challenge, it's kinda a rush...
I struggle with the hour long challenges - 20 minutes is amazing - must try it (just have to find my supplies first...)
