My Gratitude Journal

Today I'm up over on the Practical Scrappers blog.

Wow. It's already November, where has this year gone???

One of my favorite things about November, that has become one of my traditions, is a gratitude journal. Each day I challenge myself to think of what I am grateful for and write about it. I also try and make sure to not repeat the same idea twice in the month, even though I may be extra thankful for something more than once each month. One year, I even challenged myself to come up with 3 different things to be thankful for each day, no matter how small.

This year I created this journal to capture my thoughts and feelings. I wanted my journal to be cute, and something that I looked forward to writing in each night.
Here is what I created:
I just picked up a notebook on clearance at Target and altered it with paper and embellishments. I used Echo Park's For the Record 2 Documented, which had the perfect title name for this project.

Inside I continued to decorate a bit:

Then I went through and date stamped each page, and also left a blank page incase I wanted to add a photo for my day too.
This is one of my FAVORITE things to do, to get me into the Thanksgiving spirit of the month. You don't have to stop at just one month either, its the perfect habit to get into each night and write about.

Hope you create a gratitude journal also, I'd love to see it.
