December Daily Part 1

So I actually got it done this year!!! I've been meaning to do it for a couple of years, but it always seemed a little too crazy or too busy, and I know I probably couldn't finish. This year I thought I would give it a whirl and I actually finished it.

My December Daily is pretty dang basic. I bought a journal at Target, altered it, and then just added a picture or two each day, but tried to focus on the journaling. I gave each day a "word" that described what the day was. Most of the events aren't super Christmas-ey, but seeing as how Chorley's bday falls in December, the soccer season ending, and other things were important, I just recorded what went out on in our house.

Here is my cover:
And the opening page:
Day 1: Fireplace (building the first fire of the season in the fireplace)
Day 2: Christmas Catalog
Day 3: Egg Nog (and egg nog cookies)
Day 4: Soccer
Day 5: Neighbors
Day 6: Nativity
Day 7:One Year- Chorley turns One
Day 8: A Goal/ A Birthday Party (Austin's first goal of the season, and Chorley's first birthday party
Day 9: Cousins (that were here visiting)
Day 10: 1 Year Check Up
Day 11: Shopping
 Day 12: The Date 12/12/12
Day 13: Walking
Day 14: Out to Eat
Day 15: End of the Soccer Season

So it's pretty simple and basic, but I wanted something that I didn't get overwhelmed with since December is always crazy and has a lot going on. This format worked perfectly for me. I can even see trying it out again next year...

The rest of the book will be posted later, I just have to take the rest of the photos of the finished album..
