Today You Are 1.

Hello and good morning...

 I saw this wonderful sketch over at Sara's blog that she had posted as part of her birthday post, and just couldn't resist putting it to good use and making a layout with it.

 I recently finally got around to printing some of her first birthday photos and was super excited to dig into them. I used Echo Park's Love Story, which were perfect colors to match her outfit.
For my title work, I cut out one of the tags, added some alphas and then added the ONE to the banner and pop dotted it, plus I threw in some triangles for fun:
Next I took the sticker banner and then added some more paper banner strips to it:
And what a difference about 10 minutes makes from checking the cake out, to making a full blown mess out of it.. It was really fun to watch!!
