Little Ladies...

Hello and good afternoon

I have been scrapping quite a few photos of the kids, nieces and nephews from my lil sister's wedding, and been totally enjoying it. It's always fun taking pics of the kids, I usually get a couple pretty good ones and lots of not everyone looking or making weird and silly faces.

Here is one of Sydney and her two cousins:

I used a mix of papers, not even sure where everything is from now. but I added a fun doliy:

Added some misting and some of the MME enamel dots, that I am sooo LOVIN right now:

These vellum hearts and too cute and added some stitching also:

Best Buddies and a Girlie Card

Hello and good evening...

I have a layout and card that I am sharing with you that I got done the other day.
First up a boy page about my son and his best buddy cousin:

I used Echo Park's Scoot and a tiny bit of A Boys Life collection for this layout. I used Echo Park's sketch #7 for this page also.
I also played along with Boys Rule challenge to use stitching on your page. I stitched around the edges and over the triangles hear the title. 

and I thought I would balance it with a girlie card...
I created this card:

I used Carta Bella's True Friends line and their blog sketch #5 for this.
I used an SRM stickers sentiment.

I played along with Crafty Steals Thursday challenge to use flowers on your project.(The top pennant is flower print and very spring-ey)
I also played with Simon Says challenge: Anything Goes.
And last with the Chic Tags challenge, add some bling to a project. (i added 3 pink blings to the yellow bottom strip.)

Cutest Baby Ever

Ok, one more post tonight..

I actually tackled another 2 pager.. I have kinda been digging on them a bit more lately.. I just have sooo many photos.. I can't resist a photo op when it comes up, what can I say?

I already scrapped a few of these photos of my lil cutie, but I still had quite a few left, and I just adore the photos...

I used some Elle's Studio papers and tags, some Pink Paislee embellies, and the pink chevrons on the page are actually washi tape strips

A Page and A Card

Hello and good evening...

I got done a layout and a card using some of the MME's Collectables collection... I am soooo LOVIN that line right now and can't seem to get enough of it.

First up is a layout using mostly the Collectables collection and a few other random lines, I think some of it's from The Sweetest Thing too

This photo is of Sydney and Jeremy right before heading off to the Daddy and Daughter dance at the school. She was sooo excited to get all dressed up and fancy for it, I even painted her nails for it and curled her hair.
I used the MME's Feb sketch for this page.
Had fun with some hexes here too....

And secondly I made this card with the Card Sketch from MME's 2.20 post.

I used my Feb Scrapbook Circle kit and played along with their challenge #47 somewhere over the rainbow. I LOVE LOVE this arrow paper and the rainbow of colors on it.
I couldn't resist adding a bunch of stitching too...

A Sketch 3 Ways

Hello and good morning...

Today I am up over on the My Scraps & More blog....
Earlier this month during the Love Is In The Air forum crop, we had two fast sketch challenges. The challenge is to scrap the sketch provided in one hour and then you have 15 minutes to upload it into the gallery and post it for a prize.

This is the sketch that I provided for the Saturday night challenge:

Next I made another page with the sketch, flipping certain features of the sketch:

And to make the sketch work just a little bit more, I created this card with it:

Both the pages and the card were created with the MME's Collectable collection from Tammi's store that you can find HERE... I can't express how much I LOVE this line!!! I have literally used it ALL up!!!! And I think I may need some more... So make your sketches work for you!!!

A Dinner: Healthy Turkey Pita Warps

Good evening...

Ok, I am SUPER sad that the Pinspriation Project isn't going on anymore with the blogs that I play along with!!! I was actually GETTING to recipes, trying new things, and having a blast playing along.. I'm still going to try and hold myself to trying something new from Pinterest each week and still blog it.. maybe that will be my Saturday post...

I have to say, these were SUPER easy and really quite healthy. I had recently bought a 4 pack of turkey meat at Costco, so I was really excited to see this recipe and wanted to try it. We had everything except the wheat pitas so I picked some up at the store. We also used light sour cream and added some mild Taco Bell sauce packets to them.

Here's the spread for dinner, I just added and fixed each person's as they wanted them.

The verdict, everyone at the table liked them!!!! SCORE!!! I'll be making these again forsure...

Day 55: Super Sketchy Sunday

I used the Feb All Year Card kit from Apron Strings for my card. 
I layered the pennants with cardstock and then added paper and some bling, and a lil bit of stitching...

My Scraps & More Sketch #17

Hello and good morning...

TGIF people!!!! I am soooo ready for Friday today, can I just say that??? ready for the weekend, so start it up please!!

There's a wonderful new sketch from Tammi at My Scraps & More Sketch blog to get your Friday mojo cooking up something fun.

And here is what I came up with:

Hangin Out Cousin Style.. it's always fun and VERY loud when my kids and their cousins all get together. Esp the cousins that live further away, here are just a few of the cousins from 3 of the 5 families here. The photo was taken at my sister's pre wedding dinner the night before the big day.

I used a mix of a bit of everything, MME, Crate, Studio Calico.. yup all rolled up in one...
and I am seriously LOVIN the clear vellum arrows from Studio Calico and the grey alphas from them also...

I'm also linking up with Simon Says use an arrow...

Today there is a wonderful new sketch posted on the Sketches in Thyme blog... it's a 2 pager!!! I have been enjoying them more and more lately, I have to say. Tiffany created a wonderful new 2 page sketch to work with for sketch #103.

I used the Echo Park Bundle of Joy mini collection. Totally perfect for these photos of her.
These photos were mainly taken around the 5-7 month old stage of Chorley.
I fussy cut several of the alphabet blocks and added lots of stickers with pop dots for a focal area:

Child's Play- Don't Break the Ice

Morning everyone...

It's Hump Day and almost through this week... this one has been a long one already do I'm ready for the weekend please...

Today at Child's Play Challenge blog, there is a fun new challenge up and running to play along with... Remember that game, Don't Break The Ice?? that's one I remember playing as a kid, and that my kids have enjoyed playing. Though the older ones are pretty hard on the game when they play, they go all out..

I got the kids together to play a game and they had fun. It was the little one's first time. I used some MME's Collectable collection.
I love the fun stars, chevrons and arrows in this line...

Project 12

Good evening...

This year I have decided to start doing Project 12.. I am SUPER excited and I've been wanting to do it for years!! I always miss taking alot of photos in Jan and then never scrap the month, then another month passes and then before you know it, it's June and I don't want to get all caught up.
This year I am going to do it, and follow it through.

Here is my cover page for our family album:

I used our Christmas card family photo for the album opening page.
I also used the Elle's Studio 2.14 sketch and Elle's Studio papers and tags..

Then I got done my first January layout:

Jan highlights: Katelin & Matt came down for a visit for a few days, visiting my nephew for his 12th birthday, going to CHA and having some of work in it, mother & son bowling night, and hanging out...
