Happy Tuesday!!! I'm up over on the My Scraps & More blog today.
One thing I love doing is grabbing an older pack of printed photos and thumbing through them and finding one that just begs to be scrapped. This photo of my little one is from almost a year ago, and I couldn't resist using the Fancy Pants Flutter collection with it.
I decided to go with more of an open "white" space feel of the page, and just add misting on the sides and a few accent embellies.
I several embellies from the ephemera pack, cutting the flower in half and then several of the butterfly diecuts:
I also added just a hint of gold on the page and topped off the title with a hashtag title (it's all the rage... right?)
Here is the sketch I created for the page for the sketch-a-thon:
So if you use the sketch, make sure to post, I'd LOVE to check out how you used it... and make sure to get what you can of the Flutter collection, it's going quick, and the colors in the line work with boy and girls pages!!! always a plus in my book :)
Thanks sooo much for stopping by and have a great day!!!
Such a sweet photo and page Wendi!

ReplyDeleteawwww...super sweet girl!
ReplyDeleteShe is a sweet girl and this is definitely a sweet page!! LOVE how you used this collection and loving the sketch!!
ReplyDeleteI have to tell you, and this is true... I know you're a scrapper (generally) and I'm a cardmaker (generally) but one of the reasons I love to follow your blog is because I get so much inspiration from the way you layer things. Sometimes, I'm sitting at my craft desk and staring at what I've got going on and I think WWWD? What would Wendi do? The effortless way your layers coalesce and don't compete always amazes me.
ReplyDeleteI love your white space layout! Such a beautiful page of your sweet lil girl!
